Miller Custom Exteriors is one of the oldest seamless siding installation companies in the country, offering this and many other home exterior improvements since 1976. Our business traces its history to 1964 when founder, Jacob Miller, Jr. started building pole buildings with the Curry Lumber Company of Wooster. In 1974 his company, Benton Builders, became a separate corporation and continued serving the area with pole building construction as well as seamless gutters.
By the late 1970’s Jacob began looking for alternatives to what he saw as an inferior exterior wall product: vinyl siding. He found that in seamless aluminum siding. It would be another 10 years before the company joined the ABC Seamless franchise family and began offering seamless steel siding as well as a full range of exterior products, including seamless gutters, replacement windows, soffit and fascia and entrance doors.
In 2008, ABC Seamless of Northeast Ohio changed its name to Miller Custom Exteriors to embrace our family involvement and heritage and to inform the public of the full breadth of our services. ABC Seamless Siding is only the brand of two products we install. We hope that our mission statement: "We do it right or we do it over", puts into words our strong belief in giving our customers the absolute best value for their money.
Today, we continue to focus our money and growth on our installers. Compared to many companies our size in home improvement, our marketing budget is pretty small because we want to pay our installers a good wage. We believe that a happy, secure worker takes the time needed to do the work right, which in turn makes customers happy. As a result, over 60% of our business comes from repeat customers, people they refer to us, friends and family.

With 50 years of proven experience, Miller Custom Exteriors sets the standard for other siding companies across the USA. In 2001, Miller Custom Exteriors was awarded the National Contractor of the Year Award by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for a Canton, Ohio home renovation project.
In 2002 Miller Custom Exteriors was also recognized as a distinguished “Big 50” remodeling company by Remodeling Magazine. This award was based on customer satisfaction and overall business practices. According to President, Lorin Miller, “the highest honor bestowed on Miller Custom Exteriors is from our loyal customers who not only are committed to our products and service but also refer many of their friends. More than half of our business is referred or from previous customers. We wouldn’t be able to build the business we have without that support. Our mission is to provide the best home improvement experience possible. We don’t always succeed, but we will do whatever it takes to correct any problems and satisfy the homeowner.”
Since 1995, we have qualified for the Qualified Remodeler Top 500 and Remodeling Mazazine 550.
In 2001 we were named the ABC Seamless' National Franchise of the Year and in 2013, received awards for the ABC Seamless' President's Award & Largest Volume Franchise Nationwide.

A Family Business
Miller Custom Exteriors is a true family company. Five brothers are involved in the business with Ed and Lorin sharing ownership and management duties while four other brothers manage production crews. The company also has 20 plus employees in production, sales, service and office positions. One of the areas we pride ourselves on is having skilled and professionally trained employees who are dedicated to quality and service. The accidental death of Jacob Miller at his home in 2002 has further strengthened our resolve to follow his ideals and values. We are committed to Jacob’s approach of always doing the right thing no matter the cost or outcome and we believe that’s what will make us a better company in the future.
